Simple Is Difficult
Have you ever noticed how complicated you can be? How many times you may have tweaked your answers to suit others. You are the best person to know yourself and no one absolutely no one knows you better than you do. Maybe there are people in your life who may be able to read you as much, but you are smarter to camouflage yourself enough to mislead others as well.
It is important to convey your heart out, though it may not be as simple as it may sound. But, somewhere you yourself need to discover what you are and, be able to express the same.
The way you treat others is the way you are actually teaching them how to treat you. The outer world is a definite mirror image of you, therefore you see the world as you are not as it is.
Sometimes, two people looking in the same direction may articulate differently simply because they are two different individuals with different outlook; carrying different experiences and substance.
Today, everything around you is so complicated, that the only control you have is over yourself, and hence you need to come across as simple as you can be so others can understand you well.
Often people try to use words and phrases which require reading between the lines. What happens here is by the time the person tries to figure out what was conveyed, he will lose you in the consequent sentences. Sometimes, the actual meaning of the dialogue may also go unnoticed. This way of communication is not only weird but also unfair to the person at the receivers' end.
Even technology has a complicated back-end but despite that, it has a simple User Interface. The developer understands the importance of simple and that an intricate UI will not do justice to the end-user.
Similarly, humans are complex, we are built that way. But nothing stops us from being simplified. Simple is indeed beautiful and has a deeper aspect.
